Jordan River Parkway At 126th South
Leader: Pomera Fronce
Beat the income tax blues by joining us for a pleasant
walk along the Jordan River Parkway. This will be a great
opportunity to look for early spring arrivals including
migrating shorebirds at the mitigation wetlands. To honor
this popular April color, well be looking for our own kind
of blue - Great Blue Heron, Blue-winged Teal, Blue-gray
Gnatcatcher, Mountain Bluebird, Blue Grosbeak and Bluefooted
Booby (okay, so were not going to find this one).
Our three mile walk on a flat, paved surface will take about
three hours.

Field trips have to be planned well in advance.
Occasionally we have to cancel a trip, or location or times change.
Therefore it is important to confirm details with the leader.
Beginners and guests are always welcome on Audubon field trips.

We encourage carpooling on our field trips. Contributions towards
gas money would be appreciated. For local trips, under 40 miles
round trip, we suggest $3 per person and for round trips over 40 miles
we suggest $5 per person.
