Great Salt Lake Audubon Field Trip
- When: Saturday, July 12th from 8am to noon
- Where: Brighton Bird Count
- Leaders: Jeanne Le Ber and Ray Smith
- Updated Information: The bike race begins at 7:30 so you must be up the canyon by then; we recommend getting up there by 7:00 am to avoid driving behind many, many riders. Join Great Salt Lake Audubon for our annual Brighton Bird Count. We will meet at 8:00 am at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon in the parking lot adjacent to the Silver Lake Visitor Center. Note, a bike race in Big Cottonwood Canyon will block access after 7:15 or so. Get updated car pooling information when you call the leaders.

Field trips have to be planned well in advance.
Occasionally we have to cancel a trip, or location or times change.
Therefore it is important to confirm details with the leader.
Beginners and guests are always welcome on Audubon field trips.

We encourage carpooling on our field trips. Drivers appreciate contributions to help pay for fuel. For local routes of under 40 miles round trip, we suggest $3 per person and for longer ones we suggest $5 or more per person.
