Great Salt Lake Audubon Field Trip
- When: Wednesday, August 13, 8am
- Where: HIKE AND BIRD BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON.
- Leaders: Leader: Allene Keller
- Allene has a trail in mind near Mill D that is free of mountain bikes. The distance is about 3 miles round trip and involves a 600 foot elevation gain Bring water and snacks for a morning of birding. Meet at 8:00 am in the park and ride lot at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Field trips have to be planned well in advance.
Occasionally we have to cancel a trip, or location or times change.
Therefore it is important to confirm details with the leader.
Beginners and guests are always welcome on Audubon field trips.

We encourage carpooling on our field trips. Drivers appreciate contributions to help pay for fuel. For local routes of under 40 miles round trip, we suggest $3 per person and for longer ones we suggest $5 or more per person.
