"The Great Migration"
Naturalist-photographer Dr. James McIntyre was born in Toronto, Canada and currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following his first talk INTO AFRICA in May, 2006, this second talk OUT OF AFRICA will continue the relation of Jim’s experiences on photo safari in East Africa in 2003, with visits to Serengeti National Park, the Lake Ndutu region of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania. Photographs of many different African birds and mammals will be shown and aspects of their natural history discussed, including The Great Migration.
GSLA Programs are held at the Sugarhouse Garden Center,
NE corner of Sugarhouse Park (enter from 2100 South, just west of
Highland High). Doors open at 6:45 pm. Programs run from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
We'll have refreshments, it's FREE and everyone is invited to join us.
